Had to stay in Farnborough before for business and never found the hotels on offer particularly good. This time I was spending the night in Farnborough after going to a Wedding so was glad that I found somewhere more relaxing to stay.
The hotel was friendly on arrival. The room was decent with a flat screen tv, good selection of biscuits and drinks (i.e. tea/coffee/hot chocolate), free in room movies. Bathroom was also good with a powerful shower, reasonable toiletries and clean. Finally with breakfast had a reasonable choice from both the buffet and menu.
The only slight negative I had was that I was woken up in the middle of the night from one group of noisy/drunk people on the street. As far as I could work out there is nothing nearby so I think it was just a one off event and the hotel is quite a bit back from a reasonably quiet road.
I think for the price the service and quality is certainly there although if it had been much more expensive (approx 130 pounds for bed and breakfast per night) I would start to question its value. However, I really enjoyed staying here.
