Hotel good for brief stopover, budget, but clean & tidy, comfy beds and not noisy as the hotel is surrounded by trees and set well back from the M3. Would recommend. Plenty of places to purchase food & drink or cafe's to sit in & have meal/breakfast.

Good location but not impressed with the uncomfortable and dirty and stained sofa bed my daughters had to sleep on! On sheet was provided it was so uncomfortable that they didn't sleep most of the night

The room was ok, nothing special but nice comfy bed. The lack of air conditioning was unbearable in this heat and being unable to open the window more than a fraction added to the awful stuffy night sleep. Also in the morning the toilet had leaked on the floor a little, fairly cheap room though so I suppose you get what you pay for. One positive was the lovely lady on reception when we checked in on Saturday late afternoon, she was very helpful and polite.

This is a motorway services, so didn't expect much. Short notice, so expensive for what you got. Obviously an old building (no air conditioning) recycled down the hotel food chain to Day's Inn. However, they'd tried hard - the room was decent-sized, very clean and fairly recently-decorated, but the age of the bathroom fittings showed - cracked washbasin, chipped bath, stained toilet pan, extractor fan not working. Staff were helpful and friendly. Surprisingly quiet - apart from the baby elephant clomping around upstairs at crack of dawn. One-way access means you have to drive 8 miles through the M3 roadworks to go East (afterwards discovered there is a back way out - marked with a "no entry" sign).

Room Tip: Get an upstairs room - the floors are old and transmit noise downwards

We booked a Family room, 3 ladies & a dog. A double bed & 2 singles, beds were comfy, more pillows would have been nice, enough towels, an adequate but not luxurious bathroom.
The 3 beds were packed very close together, so no room to get out without sliding down the single beds.
Not enough electric sockets - only 2 - not enough for 3 ladies.
Pleasant staff, nice surroundings & easy parking.
We booked ahead and paid £38 + £5 for the dog.
Excellent value just wished the other guests hadn't been so noisy!
