“So much hospitality”

We had a wonderful stay at Tinkers Furze. Judy our hostess was truly a gem her knowledge and her generosity made our stay exceptional.
We stayed here 3 nights the first of which was the evening we arrived from Australia. It was an easy drive from Heathrow and easy to find. We used it as a base as we drove to Windsor and Eton, Dover and a day at Royal Ascot. The breakfast was wonderful and the room very comfortable. We highly recommend this lovely place.

Room Tip: Dont think there is a bad room

What a fabulous stay we had at Tinker's Furze! We travelled to Fleet to celebrate my son's 30th birthday and didn't want to stay in an impersonal hotel. The owner, Judy, rang us as we were travelling to check our time of arrival and ensure she would be there to greet us. We received a warm efficient welcome and Judy spent time with us to explain where the venue of our evening meal was and even supplied a map. The room was comfortable and very clean and the grounds superb. I loved the old fashioned bathroom with the claw-foot bath. Crisp, white bed linen and a feathery duvet made for a good nights sleep.
Breakfast was served with other guests and Judy had some interesting tales to tell of her travels abroad. We all agreed that it made a great start to our day. The food was excellent and all freshly cooked.
If you want good, old English charm and hospitality then this is the place for you.

Had a really nice stay in this Classically English B&B, if available we recommend rooms with balcony over looking the gardens. Owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful.
The house is charming and full of character with lovely gardens, and is also well situated with very pleasant surroundings.
Our room was comfortable and clean with all the usual facilities.
All in all would not hesitate to recommend and look forward to our next visit.

Enjoyed a great night's stay in this cosy B&B. The room was warm, the heaters were turned on, and everything was very clean. The showers were mentioned by another reviewer and I agree with him....they are powerful showers, which is unusual and a real bonus! The cooked breakfast was excellent, lovely crispy bacon!

Let me start by saying no-one ever gets 100 percent from me in a review!
However, Tinker's Furze was as close to it as you could wish, with a warm welcome from mother and daughter team Judy & Jenny. I came on an 'off-season' visit, but found everything was great, nothing too much trouble, and that proprietor Judy quickly noticed my interest in local/military history and we discussed this more than once.
Adverse weather prevented my return to the Isle of Man on the allotted day, but an extra day's stay was easily arranged.
In all, a very pleasant stay, and I'm pleased to see Tinker's Furze at the top of Fleet B&B ratings.

Room Tip: Rooms 1 and 2 have balconies with a view over the lovely garden.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The owner was very friendly and helpful, giving suggestions of where we could eat in the evening and where we could go for a walk the next day. Everywhere was clean, homely and welcoming. How room was lovely and comfortable, with modern furniture, a kingsize bed and an ensuite. Breakfast was really nice with a good choice of food available (including vegetarian) and added touches of local jam and bread. There was a little confusion with our booking, but this was sorted out quickly and was not a problem. Maybe a confirmation email of our booking could have helped avoid this confusion. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

I stayed recently and can rate this B&B as one of the best places I have ever stayed in. The mother and daughter team are extremely friendly and warm without being intrusive. The house is steeped in history and full of character. I spent over an hour during breakfast chatting to the owners about the history of the house and family which was enchanting. The double room (4) I stayed in was perfect, quality bedding, comfortable bed and a wonderful en-suite with bath and shower. The cleanliness is outstanding as are the facilities therein. Breakfast was served promptly and the produce is second to none, lovely bacon and sausages and the perfect fried egg. I would gladly stay again and highly recommend Tinkers Furze to anyone visiting Fleet. They could charge more for the service they offer but are mindful of the local areas prices. Great value......thank you Judy and Jennifer.

Room Tip: There are quite a few to choose and if all are of the same high standard as the double I stayed in t...
