This hotel and, in particular its duty manager, withdrew a substantial amount of money from our bank account without our permission after we legitimately cancelled a booking within the terms of our reservation.
When the error was pointed out to them they refused to return the funds and we had to endure a very long wait before eventually being refunded by the booking agent who themselves were astonished that the hotel had taken funds given the legitimacy of our cancellation.
So I can’t comment on the cleanliness, service, rooms or location of this hotel but I am clear that the type of person running the establishment operates well below the moral standards that any traveller -business or leisure - has the right to expect when sharing credit card details to hold rooms.
We have endured countless difficulties as a result of their immorality and received absolutely no help, support, understanding or care from employees of the hotel.
So be extremely careful around the Lismoyne and think twice before reserving.
This is an hotel that thinks only of itself ... and that’s not a good moral setting for any business in the hospitality sector.More
