This pub has improved. Helpful staff and a very nice outdoor seating area. Lovely hanging baskets! Would recommend.

“Friendly , welcoming staff and good value”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

Staff were so friendly and suggested we 'try' the beer in tap before choosing. Food was fresh- recommend the scampi. Lovely atmosphere with competative prices.

“No lager on tap”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

Wasn't too impressed with this pub food ok nothing special. Had to wait twenty mins to get served as they were short staffed although nice staff .
They had at least three different lagers that had run out so had to have cider.

Fleetspoons, Manager at The Prince Arthur, responded to this review, 7 August 2014
Sorry to hear that you had a wait at the bar and that 3 lagers were not available at the time of your visit. Sometimes we get unexpectedly busy and waits do occur but we do stock 8 lagers as standard so that there is always a range available. Please come back and see us as this would of been a rare occasion of product availability issues.

“Extraordinary choice of bottled ales!”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

Pre-dinner drinks on a Saturday evening, the bar was pretty busy as one would expect, but well worth it as the choice of bottled ales included Innis and Gunn, Punk IPA, Leffe and even Goose Island American Pale ale..
