Having heard there was a new chef at The Cricketers, we decided to try it for lunch today. FIRST CLASS! The small things that count - linen napkins for instance. Pleasant staff, who served us quickly but unobtrusively. We had the shared Camambert with salad, bread and chutney. Totally delicious, with a lovely chilled glass of white wine. The pub itself is in the best spot in the village, overlooking the wonderful cricket green.
Thoroughly enjoyed myself and look forward to returning soon.
