“Cigerattes”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 April 2014 via mobile

The reason for only two star is if you eat or drink out side all tables are for smokers there needs to be some no smoking tables nothing worst than sitting down to eat and cig ends on floor and plant pot full of cig ends on table.

“Bit pricey but nice food and lovely view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 March 2014

Busy waterside pub, drinks almost London prices which surprised us. Choice of fresh (local?) fish as available in addition to standard menu. We had to wait for our food but it was worth it. I imagine that parking would be difficult in midsummer.

“Snacks on Sunday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2014

Not been here for a couple of years. Planned to have snacks and a beer here. Got there just before Midday on one of the hottest days of the year - the car park and outside seating was packed but we managed to get a table in the sun. Inside I was served straight away by very friendly staff. We ordered 'starters' as our snacks which were served shortly afterwards. They were of the usual good quality and quantity, likewise the beer was excellent. Other meals served to tables around us looked really good too.

“nice food by the bridge on to Hayling Island”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 March 2014

We like this place.. great for families.. lots of choice on the menu. Good beers behind the bar... Only gripe would be service can slow when they are busy.. we like the outdoor tables opverlooking the sea, and easy parking... especially nice at sunset....

“Great Location - Great Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2014

My husband and I had lunch at The Ship Inn - as it was a lovely sunny day we sat outside to enjoy the lovely view across the Langstone Harbour. We both opted for the hamburgers - I had the beetroot burger and although it sounds awful it was very tasty (and not so fattening). My husband enjoyed his beef burger which also had a homemade patty - both were well presented with a side salad and chips (the beetroot burger came with skinny chips). The staff were very professional and could not do enough for you - we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back - highly recommend.
