“Lovely way to spend a couple of hours”
Reviewed 26 August 2014

Went to Fourteas Tearoom for lunch , the atmosphere was great, they were setting up a table for a 100th birthday and taking a lot of trouble over it.
We had a very nice lunch, also saw some of the cream teas come out.
We will be back with friends in the near future.

“40th birthday, high tea !!!!”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

We went to The 19 Fourteas tearoom for my Niece's 40th birthday and had high tea, there was plenty for all 7 of us, because after the sandwiches, savouries and tea cakes out came scones with jam and cream, lovely and all for £7 per head.

“Fabulous Afternoon”
Reviewed 19 August 2014 via mobile

We booked as a girls afternoon out to celebrate my sisters 50th Birthday.
The food was beautifully presented and we had a choice of sandwich fillings and types of bread which was brilliant as by sister only eats gluten free food I can only say that the service atmosphere and the staff were amazing can't wait to come back.

“A lovely afternoon tea”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

We visited 19 Fourteas, with my 5 year old daughter, for an afternoon tea. The tea itself is lovely, and good value for money (£14 for two). The atmosphere is great, and the owners have obviously put in a lot of effort into the decor. They are always really busy so best to book beforehand.

“Wonderful High Tea”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

Our first visit and by no means our last. I had booked a table in advance which is a must.
We went with 4 friends so a party of 6. The atmosphere as you walk in is one of such a friendly nature the staff all warm and welcoming. The whole place is filled with 1940's objects and staff dressed off the times. We were asked if we minded going upstairs and we said no that would be fine. The table was laid with all miss matched china just as in the day, the menu's were like Ration books and the place mats were Old Newspapers lamminated, so lots to read whilst waiting and the room was full of things to look at, brilliant.
We all had the High Tea, we were given a choice of sandwiches so as there were six of us we said we would have round of each and share them between us. Our tea was brought to us on 3 tiered stands, it consisted of brown & white fresh sandwiches, little sausage rolls, pork pies & savoury rolls and little lemon curd tarts, cinnamon doughnuts & fairy cakes. After we had eaten this and drunk copius cups of tea. The waitress came up and said "So your now ready for your Scones". We were then served with Scones, cream & jam. We were all full to the brim when we finished. Although we were last there we never felt we were hurried and the staff chatted to us when we asked about how they started up and got the idea to have such a lovely place. I would very highly recommend this place for a visit, food is served all day.
