This was our 1st visit and we will be back.On arrival it seemed a bit busy but people just melted away.
The staff were lovely and always had a smile. We got involved with some of the classes which we enjoyed very much. Water fit at 7.30 am was just right to set you up for the day.

The food was great, the only thing was in the morning we were not asked if we wanted a cooked breakfast the waitress was busy and after serving us our tea did not come back to ask if we wanted to order. There was a big selection of fruit and cereals so we did not go hungry.
The room with a lovely with a view over the lake , which was covered with mist in the morning.
Great location and beautiful setting.
wonderful.

My third time at Champneys, and never disappointed , this was my longest stay , so I had more time to appreciate , this smooth , and we'll run resort . The receptionists , various attendants , dining room staff , and even the cleaners , we're very polite , attentive , and efficient . Dining was indeed a pleasure , with a varied mix of food , and drinks . Facilities are excellent , well done Champneys , and thank you .

Such a relaxed place. Every member of staff works to make ever customer special. Always greeted with a smile, even in the exercise classes when they can work you hard. An amazing place which sets high standards and maintains them, in a setting that can only enhance the experience. Every visit is different, but always amazing.

Room Tip: The standard rooms are fine. A view of the lake is always nice, however in the summer a ground floo...

Visited with my daughter on an overnight break. We had a standard twin room which was perfectly adequate for a short break, though if I'd been staying longer, I feel the room would have benefited with the addition of a refrigerator. After booking our included treatments we borrowed a couple of cycles for a ride around the immediate area. Take a camera as there are some great photo opportunities.
Dinner was full waiter service, all courses are beautifully presented, though pehaps on the small side, when compared with restaurant dining. Wine can be purchased with dinner by the glass or bottle. The merlot was very good.
After dinner we moved down to one of the lounges where we found a self service coffee machine, the lounge had an open fire and comfy sofas.
Later in the evening we played a music based quiz organised by Alan, (unexpectedly) great fun.
Breakfast is provided as a buffet, there is the option to purchase a full english (Chamneys style) or omlettes. For the amount of money you pay to stay, to charge an extra £2.95 for an omelette does seem rather odd. Lunch is a self service buffet and was excellent with plenty of choice.
Our treatments of massage and facials were very relaxing. The whole stay was excellent from start to finish, we found all staff very helpful.
Any niggles mentioned here really are just minor. I'm sure we'd both jump at the chance to return.
Special thanks to Andrew for the entertaining chat!

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a gift and the sort of thing I would never choose to do myself (really not a spa/pampering sort of person and I spend way too much time in my working life in hotels to want to voluntarily stay in another one for any reason(!)) but once there, it was great fun. The gift included a massage and I then added a number of other treatments/sessions (they were there, I was there with the time available - why not?). My sister, who is similarly-minded but more energetic used the gym a lot.

Rooms very comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Food uber-healthy but tasty and well-presented. Breakfast good.

Nice gift.

if your looking for a relaxing or active break away Champneys has it all. After just one trip you just yearn to return time and time again. Excellent facilities , swimming pool is superb and lovely and clean, spa some lovely treatments the staff in there fantastic, helpful and friendly I recommend the hot stone massage, pedicure, facial, seaweed wrap the options are endless. A must is the thalassotherapy pool you feel totally rejuvenated after that. Food excellent great choice and a must is the restaurant overlooking the lake. Standard and superior rooms had all you wanted and spotlessly clean loved the free toiletries a nice touch cant wait to return in February.

Room Tip: Standard to a suite all excellent.
