My husband and I needed a complete break for various reasons and boy did we feel we had found the place when we were shown our fabulous room by Daphne. She looked after us with a superb breakfast comfortable beds and a lovely spacious bathroom .Nothing was too much trouble for her and we wished we could have stayed longer. The location is perfect for the forest and the sea and we came home feeling fejuvenated thankyou Marion and John.

Room Tip: both rooms are lovely

My boyfriend and I booked a weekend away In the New Forest and were fortunate enough to discover this absolute gem of a B & B, tucked away in idyllic countryside. Daphne was a fantastic hostess and superb cook. The room was charming. The bed extremely comfortable and bathroom spotless, plenty of hot water. Daphne runs Yew tree Farm very professionally, but the small touches and attention to detail, for example the welcome tray and extra blankets, make it feel like home from home. A much needed peaceful break. Highly recommend, we will definiitely be returning.
Thanks Daphne

Quaint old fashioned cottage in the New Forest. Suited for more old fashioned, old school type of people. A host lady who tries hard to be attentive but occasionally maybe overpowering. Location convenient but near the road. Also, note no shower in the en-suite room - just a bath and occasionally hot water may run out. Piles of magazines in the room going back to 1986 ! Please also note a certain lack of privacy. Breakfast is in your room or downstairs in the hallway. No breakfast room as such. Nice touch in the bed of an electric blanket.

We enjoyed 3 nights at Yew Tree Farm in February.
You need look no further. The cottage is beautiful and our room was lovely with everything you need. Daphne is a lovely lady, helpful and attentive but unobtrusive. Breakfast was delicious served in a charming private area. Just what we needed. Highly recommended.

Stayed here as part of our 'South Coast Tour' starting in Devon and finishing in the New Forest. Nice quiet B&B, with a tasty breakfast - make sure you try the Walnut toast as written about by the other reviewers! Daphne is a lovely lady with good knowledge of the surrounding area. The B&B is quite beautiful and old fashioned with a thatched roof. Our room, the double, came with an electric blanket in the room - first time I have ever seen one, probably quite useful in the winter! As the house is probably a listed building and all the original features have been retained, there are no stand up showers in the rooms, only baths.

Room Tip: The Double is ensuite, the other is not.

We booked for 2 nights at Yew Tree Farm B & B but ended up spending 3 nights, we enjoyed our stay so much. Daphne is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble. The location is perfect, well situated in the New Forest. The bedroom is spacious, clean and very comfortable with flowers to greet you on arrival ! The breakfast is truly superb and all in all I would highly recommend this B & B to anyone wishing to stay at a truly great value for money establishment.
Could not fault Yew Tree Farm in any area, it was superb. Thank you

Room Tip: B & B s more than 2 flights of steps and no lift, means back problems getting your luggage there...

This is the second time we have visited Yew Tree Farm and confirm say that this must be a number one bed and breakfast for anyone visiting the lovely New Forest area.

Our visit this time, with my brother and his wife, was again memorable. Days out included a trip to Osborne House on the Isle of Wight from the nearby ferry at Lymington and another visit to Bucklands Hard..........

We will of course be returning.

Room Tip: This is a 2 bedroom thatched farmhouse. One bedroom has a double bed with en-suite, whilst the othe...
