Just returned from this park. . The accommodation was amazing. The cleaners need great praise, i have never stayed in such a clean caravan. Absolutely spotless.. The shower was lovely and big and very powerful. The welcome packs were such a lovely touch. We would recommend this park. We will use Hoburne again. Worth every penny....

Love this site and in fact have hired a caravan here for years at least once a year in the winter months. Unfortunately due to the fact that we would only require the use of the bar for a couple of pints of an evening we feel that the cost of club membership is far to much for just this purpose and have not used the club for the last two years. The cost of membership is per caravan and is very reasonable if there are six persons in a caravan who use all the facilties I.e. swimming pool, games, entertainment, eating and bars etc., but works out quite expensive if there are only two of you in the caravan and you only want to use the bar for a couple of pints in the evening due to age etc. Apparantly the bar is generally quite quiet in the winter months apart from on special occassions. Many couples feel the same as us.

This was ur first family holiday since having our children. The Caravan was very nice, spotless and very comfortable. Steve and Caroline who own the caravan could not have been more helpfull and pleasant. The facilities were great for all ages. The staff so friendly and the park itself very clean and welcoming. Our parents hired the caravan next door via steve and caroline and also share our views. Great location - My husband and i went for dinner one night at the silver hind in sway - a great resturant and well worth a visit....
All in all a fantastic holiday - i would highly recomend to anyone especially caravans St129 and ST130 ... The Drury Family

Room Tip: Caravan ST130 and Caravan ST129. Via steve and Caroline french

Have visited this park twice now through a newspaper promotion, 2012 and 2013. The staff at this site need commending - especially the cleaners who prepare the accommodation. On both our visits we were provided with excellent accommodation (static caravan), extremely clean and well presented. The accommodation is fitted out to a very high standard with plenty of utensils etc. The park is situated in a very good position for visiting either the coast or the countryside. Inside the caravan you will find a folder setting out everything you need to know and more. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. You cannot fault this park at all. Lovely stay.

We took our touring caravan for a short weekend break at Hoburne Bashley in early October after booking at the last minute.

As soon as we arrived on site we were welcomed by a member of staff who helped us get our caravan on to the pitch. Unfortunately, our electric cable was too short to reach the hook up, but we were moved to another pitch in closer proximity to the hook up in a matter of minutes. A 25 metre cable is definitely needed at this site!

The touring area is very nice with plenty of space for caravan, car and awning and has hedges separating each individual pitch. The shower blocks are situated close by and were themselves clean and tidy. All in all, I really can't find anything to grumble about when it comes to the touring field. It's a well kept area with a very helpful warden close by.

The facilities throughout the site are great with plenty to keep you and the kids amused. Outside there is a very large sports field with pitch and putt, crazy golf, archery, a football pitch, tennis courts, a very nice children's adventure playground and even a golf course. The swimming pool is great with a flume and even a sauna in the changing area. However, the pool is due for renovation this year and is going to be replaced with a straightforward rectangular pool with no water slides. The outdoor pool was closed during our visit, but looked to be a good size.

The entertainment complex has everything you would expect to find on a site like this with restaurant, bar, arcade, bowling and evening entertainment. We ate in the restaurant on one occasion and the food was perfectly acceptable and reasonably priced. In fact, everything at Hoburne Bashley is reasonably priced. If, like us, you are used to staying at Haven or Parkdean sites, you will be pleasantly surprised by how much cheaper things are at Hoburne Bashley. From the arcade machines - to the drinks in the bar, the prices are not going to bankrupt you!

The evening entertainment was good with plenty for the kids and a very good singer/comedian on the Friday evening who went down a storm.

All in all, Hoburne Bashley has a good old fashioned charm about it. It's not as modern or on the scale of Haven or Parkdean sites, but it has a lovely atmosphere that reminded me of family holidays from when I was a child back in the 80s. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful throughout our stay and are looking forward to visiting the Hoburne site in Torbay in the future.

Room Tip: If you're touring, make sure you bring a 25 metre cable!

Firstly I must thank Hoburne. Originally due to come in May but taken ill two days before our holiday and with no insurance. Hoburne let us change the date, subject to a reasonable admin fee. It well worth booking direct with Hoburne as entertainment passes are included and if there are any problems they are on hand to put right without delay.
Went for a platinum caravan. Bed supremely comfy.Very high spec (2 televisions, central heating, double glazing and patio with furniture), spotlessly clean, beds made up and towels too plus a small welcome pack.
Bedroom was really good size but the kitchen lacked work surface space and storage. Okay for the two of us but not for a family. As the layouts of caravans do vary its worth checking prior to booking.
The site is very well laid out with all facilities in the main building. Prices for drinks, food and golf/bowling etc very competitive and despite being late season there was entertainment.
The pool is a little tired and the changing facilities only adequate and the makeover for next season will hopefully result in a 1st class facility.
The park is ideally situated for the New Forest and about 2 miles from the coast. Staff at reception were generally pleasant and helpful.
We would recommend and hope to return next year.

Room Tip: check the layout of your caravan as they do vary
