I have been here twice recently and both times had excellent service from both the bar staff and the waitresses.
Both times I had the steak pie, I wanted to go for something different the second time but the pie was just too good to resist! Loads of meat in the filling, thin pastry and tasty gravy. What more do you need? Apart from some chunky chips and a cold pint which we also enjoyed.
The only small thing is that on the menu it just says "pie of the day", which is fine, but our server didn't tell us what that was and we couldn't get her attention again to ask at the beginning so we had a little wait to find out what it was. Also at the end of the meal we asked for a few minutes then we would order more drinks.. but she never came back to us. But they are small points. Fantastic food, good atmosphere and cold beer. Great evening

We live near Romsey and visited the OHAT on a few occasions. We've probably been 3 times in the last 6 months, but are are finding the choice of menu is very limited. Ranging from the starters to the mains, I think rhey need to change it. I can't complain about the quality of the food at al, it's top notch. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Despite the too hot to handle weather-and being extremely busy, the service was amazing--polite and efficient. That day food was simply a variety of gourmet hot dogs served in the garden---but they were absolutely delicious and the two young lads taking the orders were superb. Our food was presented to us within a few very short minutes----and included some the best and crispiest chips ever.Thank you so much to all concerned.
