Peppa Pig World is a fantastic sight. That part of the park gets very crowded in the summer, expect to wait for 30 minutes or more for the rides.

The rest of the park is also excellent, with rides for children and young teens, no real 'thrill rides', though.

As season ticket holders of Paultons we have visited on a number of occasions and been very happy with the park. Peppa Pig World is excellent for my son who is 2 1/2. Last Saturday we arranged a day out with several of our friends and their children and paid an extra £31(each couple) on top of our season pass to book a specific time slot to see Santa in the Christmas wonderland. We booked for 15.30, by which time the children were tired but really looking forward to seeing Father Christmas. When we got to the attraction we were told there was at least an hour wait before we could even enter the building. When questioned the member of staff informed us that they had allocated a 15 minute time slot per 25 children - this equates to less than a minute per child to see Santa. We considered this to be unacceptable and were not prepared to force the children to wait for over an hour. Therefore we requested a refund from the operations manager, Elliot [--], who bluntly refused. This felt somewhat like adding insult to injury. He told us that we had to put a request for a refund in writing to the board of directors. This single incident has seriously damaged my opinion of Paultons and makes me reconsider renewing my season pass. A simple on the spot refund would have quickly resolved the issue, however, the stubborn attitude of the operations manager coupled with my sons disappointment on the day compels me to write and complain.

We went on Saturday and the Peppa land and rest of park was great Peppa perfect for pre school and young children ours are 4
The santa spectacular was dreadfull. We had a time on our ticket of 3.45pm and after queuing outside and then inside a small marquee - which was cramped hot and noisy we finally got the the front of the queue after 1 hour! Lots of very fed up children and parents - many walked out. We went through only for the children to be terrified by dragons, yetis and awful dwarfs/ gnomes. FC was good we were in with him for 1 minute - just long enough to get a photo. Gifts were very good and age appropriate but not really worth the queue.

We attended yesterday for the Christmas Womderland. Pepper Pig world was great and i could not fault. BUT..........................Paying for the winter wonderland and booking the tickets online i thought was great we were booked fr 2pm. We started queing at 1.45 and this was in a tent full of screaming, crying, bored children it was like a cattle slaughter. There was nothing to keep the kids or adults amused and was just a pile of plops. We then got to the main entrance of the wonderland at 2.45 so an hour queing just to get to the entrance. we then had to que in the winter wonderland and altough this time there was singing animals and elfs etc this still didnt keep my son or any other children amused for long it was hot and stuffy and boring. We then got to see father xmas at 3.25 he was in a room which was not overly decorated and he was Skinny????? Also they dont take nice professional pics of the child and him. VERY DISAPOINTED !!!!!! If we had not gone to that part of the day then we would have not have had a bad thing to say

We visited Paultons Park on a School training day at the end of October.

We were able to freely get on all the rides and on one ride myself and my son went round 4/5 times one after the other, changing seats as no one was waiting.

My children are 2, 4 and 6 years old and there is plenty to do with the 2 & 4 year old loving Peppa Pig World and my 6 year old loving the rollercoasters. I was even persuaded to "ride the cobra" myself. FAB!

Food quality and choice was quite good and varied for a theme park.

Plenty to do for younger children in the play parks set aside and the real pleasure was that that the place was not over taken with side stalls and mini rides costing so much extra than entrance fees.

An ideal theme park for those with younger children !
