“Fantastic!!! Loved everything at Peppa Pig World.”
Reviewed 30 November 2011

Visited Peppa Pig World in June this year with my 2 year old HUGE peppa pig fan and my hubby. From the minute we walked in till we left we had an amazing fun filled day. If your little ones are Peppa pig fans then this place is a real must. Everything is so well thought out. Que's for the rides weren't too bad, some slower than others, we did visit Friday day though can see it getting rather busy at weekends. Only downside really was the food, expensive and rubbish but didnt really expect anything else always the same at these places. Play areas were fab to let your kiddies run wild and if its warm enough take there swimming gear for the muddy puddles. Hoping to go back next year!!

“Ideal For your little ones”
Reviewed 28 November 2011

So I have been to Paultons 3 times this year with my wee lad who loves it.
He has just turned 4 and now that he is a little taller ( But now you have to pay- Boo) he gets to go on a greater number of rides.

On the first trip to Paultons this year Peppa Pig World had opened and boy was it busy. This was in school holiday time which mean't BIG BIG queues for all of Peppa World. For a 3/4 year old not the smartest thing to do as time seems to drag for them.

However, go when the kids are at school and BINGO you can go on the rides again and again. Smiling face from boy. More Daddy more.

Maybe Paultons Park (PP) should look to introduce Fast pass as their Peppa Pig World has been so successful.

The Park is well laid out with selections for large kids to go on too.

PP offer a sticker for you to pop on you little ones back or front (you decide) with your mobile number on so if your little one escapes you for a moment the situation is fixed pretty quick. Providing you take your phone of course.

In terms of price point I think it is good value for money, maybe even worth the investment in a season ticket if you live close.

If the weather is forecast to be good don't forget the swimmers and towel as PP have two excellent Water play parks.

So all in all PP good for all the family and as they say "you will have a Hoot"..

Happy days

“Disappoiinted - long queues for Christmas event and poor service.”
Reviewed 24 November 2011

The queues for Christmas wonderland were a joke. After arriving for our 3pm slot - we were told there is a 45 minute wait and after 40 minutes we were told there was about 40 minutes left! After meeting with the park operations manager who refused to provide a refund or offer an alternative date.

The second largest queue of the day was for refunds ...... But was told I must write in to the board of directors for a refund!!!! I am sure Richard Mancey the MD has better things to do instead of approve a £24 refund - but did write in and they refused to give a refund. As complaints are rare and the queues were no longer than usual - but the adult to child mix was different!! Unsure how that impacts the excessive queues - however they did offer £25 in vouchers. So if I do decide to return for the Christmas wonderland I can put these £25 towards the full cost (no more season ticket discount ).

Very annoying!!!!

Great little park - hate to think what it would be like in peak season as this was November and it was busy! Great Santa, crappy grotto in the Christmas bit

“Winter Wonderland, Where?”
Reviewed 22 November 2011

As a family we are members of Paultons Park and have had some great visits over the year BUT, the Winter Wonderland is another way of ripping off loyal customers. Every parent wants to give their children a special Christmas so we decided to pay the extra £50 odd pounds to get us in. Our thinking was it would be nice to see the place all lit up, people in costumes and general festivities. Oh how wrong we were, yes there was a couple of Christmas trees in Peppa Pig World and that is far as it gets. Sorry how could I forget the half a glass of tepid fruit punch and a mince pie, when asked for a top up I was greeted with a hacked off young man asking for 50p, great.

The staff were certainly not in the Christmas spirit the looked utterly displeased to be there. Then came the moment the children had been waiting for, well if they wanted to spend and hour in a queue, and then shuffle around toe to toe whilst worrying about putting their excited little faces into the bottom of the parent in front. The tent you had to wait in had no decorations, entertainment or even music except for the cries of bored children and frustrated parents. Inside was OK but couldn't really enjoy it as it was so packed in. The present were ok.

All in all a very disappointing day, yes I can understand charging for the children on top of their membership but for me and my wife have to pay twenty odd pounds for the privilege of drinking a rubbish drink and a mince pie in my eyes in a total rip off. I hope they enjoy there money but I will not be joining again next year on the back of this so they have lost £300 odd, shame. If you have not booked for the wonderland please do not bother, you may as well try and find the one in the new forest!
