My Sister Hilary and I stayed at the Star for a long weekend in early September, As old Romsonions we grew up knowing the names of all the pubs in Romsey, many are now sadly gone
but the Star has been on the corner of Cherville St. and the Horsefair since we were small children and looks exactly the same from the outside as it did nearly 70 years ago. We had a lovely stay, the rooms were spacious and clean the beds comfortable and the food delicious. Sharon and her family could not have been kinder or more helpful. If you are in Romsey at lunch time on Sunday ,they serve the best ,really home made roast lunch for miles around
