Brilliant place, just off the junction, also a place for the children, also managed to get the wheelchair in, food excellent and good coffee

This is a lovely pub in a lovely spot, and we had an enjoyable lunch - but we had a long wait and it was very expensive for what it was.

We ordered the food which took well over half an hour, I ordered rib eye steak@ medium. It arrived rare, it was sent back and returned to me very much the same. I ate as much as I could as I don't particularly like rare meat. The plate was cleared away and was then told the chef sent his apologies, but didn't want to cook it too much s he was afraid he would overcook it and burn it? To make matters worse we were charged £19 for that meal, with the bill totalling £40+ and no offer to compensate. Clearly changed hands since we last visited. There seemed to be more fuss made of the choice in music and the volume of it. That will be our last visit

Really lovely country with great food, a great atmosphere and friendly staff. I would highly recommend the Boar Burger. Parking is also available.

Stopped here today for lunch with the family. It's a lovely pub and a nice atmosphere but I found the food so expensive especially for the quality! £6.50 for a starter of deep fried haddock goujons and £12/£13 for a main of Thai green curry. The quality of food is average at best. I won't return in a hurry.
