“Lovely”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

I recently spent a couple of days in the New Forest on business and it was beautiful. Coming from a built up town, to what felt like the middle of nowhere! It was very peaceful and tranquil, the only 'traffic' I got caught in was cows and horses on the road!

“Beautiful”

Had never gotten as far down as the New Forest but what a lovely experience. Beautiful countryside full of new forest ponies running free. Lovely little villages with excellent restaurants. A must visit.

“Trees, trees, trees!”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

This is a wonderful place whether for a holiday or as a place to live in and work in.

I have had the pleasure and privilege of driving (mostly for work) and walking (for pleasure) through and into the Forest. You can have a great time whatever the time of year but my favourite time has always been Autumn when there are the most amazing colours on display.

If you haven't been there you should put it on your list.

“Just a lovely place”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Havent been to the New Forest for many years and it was lovely to go back and find it unchanged. Although a popular holiday destination there are still many places that you can get off the beaten track and just relax and enjoy all the animals roam the Forest. Road signs are a bit few and far between particularly around Brockenhurst but get yourself a good map or use sat nav (if you can get a signal!).

“New Forest”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

Cultivated by Cromwell as a Royal hunting ground. The New Forest still abides by many of its medieval rules today. Wonderful for walking, cycling picnicing. A national park with semi-wild ponies, pigs, cattle, deer and other wildlife. The heather is abundant in August. It reveals a history of witchcraft, treason, rebellion and a harmony between commoners and aristocracy. The New Forest pubs usually are museums themselves and serve good food and local English beers.
