Called in on this Inn and asked for a menu that we could take away to study. We were told they hadn't any to take out, but we could look at one they had inside (a photocopied version of it wouldn't have taken more than a minute to produce for us, but never mind, this wasn't offered!!!!). The Inn was almost empty and we were going to sit down at a table to look at this one and only menu and we were told that we couldn't sit there as 'that's for dining customers only'. The area was empty anyway! We couldn't see the food hygiene rating on the door either.
We walked out and went to Alice Lisle instead who welcomed us with open arms.
