“Perfect!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 November 2013

Just returned form a quick one night break at Belleville Chalet, how we wish it had been a week. Seamus and Sue have something really special here, every little detail is looked after, the breakfast is gorgeous, the rooms are spotlessly clean and well equipped, beds comfortable etc. etc. It's the atmosphere though, which money can't buy, that makes it special and you will just feel great being in that house! The location is great too with the New Forest to explore along with National Trust nearby and we were spoilt for choice for places to eat. Thanks Sue and Seamus for a fabulous time!

My wife and I stayed at this very smart B&B near Ringwood for two nights over New Year, while attending a nearby wedding. We could not have wished for a better or more friendly place. Both Susan and Seamus worked hard to make this break one to remember. Breakfasts were varied and excellent, and 'flexed' one morning to take account of our very late night on New Year's Eve.Chalet Belleville reminded us of many of those local B&B's in which we stayed while driving along the Grarden Route in South Africa - high praise indeed. We will return!

Room Tip: We stayed in the double room, which was fine for us as a couple. The larger double could however ...

We were visiting the area to attend the Southampton Boat Show. Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard, as could be said for the whole property. It is very conveniently located for us to attend the Boat Show, yet it was blissfully quiet. Seamus was able to advise on a great place to eat in the evening - Drusilla's Inn, a lovely family run pub with great food. And breakfast - wow. That set us up for the day - all locally sourced food too. The other guests seemed to be as impressed as we were, and to snatch a glimpse of the fox running across the lawn was a real bonus.

My young family (2 children under 3) stayed here for two nights. We found the condition of the room, ensuite and communial areas to be very clean. It is very close to Moors Valley Park, 45 minutes from the National Motor Museum and about 30 mins from Peppa Pig World! We stayed in a very large room which was well presented. The TV even had Sky which helped keep the kids occupied while it rained. There was, large, playful dog which my son enjoyed. I would recommend this place for couples and families looking to explore the local area.

Room Tip: There are different rooms for either morning or evening son. We had a cot in our room, but it was bi...

We stayed just one night. It is perfectly located for Moors Valley Park.
Our en-suite room was absolutely lovely - my husband enjoyed watching the Olympics in comfort on the good sized TV.
The host recommended a local pub for dinner, The Three Legged Cross, which was just down the road and great for a cheap family meal.
My daughter had her own room which shared our bathroom through Jack n Jill doors - absolutely perfect.
Breakfast was great - a wide choice, which we enjoyed al fresco on their huge decking overlooking a well appointed garden. The hosts were very friendly -nothing was too much trouble. The dog and cat were friendly too.
We would stay again and strongly recommend this well thought out B&B.

We were planning a trip to Devon then Brighton and decided to take a couple of days in between somewhere different so went on bookings.com and saw that this place had a really good rating and decided to take a chance! And what a stroke of luck! The hotel was spotlessly clean, the hosts were the nicest people I have met in a long time, breakfast was really good - very good quality and plenty of choice - we dined at a restaurant which they recommended and weren't disappointed there either! Extremely good value for money all round and would definitely recommend to anyone whether a family or a couple as we are!
