Brought some friends here to experience the wonderful Buckler's Hard and see the small chapel that goes way back in history and to see where the old fight ships were built.

Found his place by accident. It was beautiful and peaceful and taught us something about the area I had never heard before. Cafe was good, pub with river views even better, and forest walk demonstrated how little we know about trees! Not a lot there for your money (about £6 each) but this did include free parking which is at a premium. Lovely trip on river (extra charge), probably better for adults than children, but we really enjoyed it.
