We spent the day here & really enjoyed it, as well as the cars, the garden tour was very interesting as was the Falconry Display. We would certainly recommend this to friends & family.

“Super day out”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

Arrived at opening time so got in quickly and enjoyed a great day.
We headed for the museum parts first and started in the Top Gear section, it was fascinating to see up close the vehicles that had been modified for various shows seen on TV very ingenious then a visit to a mock up of the studio which gave a chance to see what the live programme visitors experience.
Next onto the main exhibition hall, wow, what a feast for the eyes and mind. I know this is the National Motor Museum but little prepares you for the size of the place and its vast contents. It is great to see the famous and vintage cars and bikes along side examples of cars that the general public are familiar with from their own memory span. Prepare to spend a lot of time looking around here, there is truly something for everyone whatever your age.
The Abbey the gardens and the house are of course a complete contrast, but are very much worth spending time to visit. If you can take the short but very informative tour of the parts of the house open to the public you will find out so much about the family and its place in history given in a very easy going way.
If you can't see all you want to in one day just validate your entry ticket in the main museum upstairs at the information desk and this will give you free admittance to the whole site once again for a period of six days from your first visit.
This a must visit place for all age groups my tip get there as near opening time as possible to get the most of your day.

“Great”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

Was surprisingly quiet for a summer's Saturday. Haven't been for over 20 years but it hasn't lost its charm. So many cars packed into the main bit of the museum - could be spread out in a larger or additional building to improve the experience. The Wheels ride was a little on the dated/tatty side now

“Extremely average”

Always thought it would be an exciting day out, the whole place lacks something and is a rather tedious visit. Saying this you get to see things you wouldn't otherwise.

Thank you for your review, we are sorry if you felt disappointed in your visit. We do try to offer something to interest everybody, as in addition to the very popular National Motor Museum, the attraction also features the World of Top Gear, Beaulieu Abbey, Palace House and gardens, plus unlimited rides on the monorail and open-topped veteran bus.

The museum is constantly being updated with new exhibits and displays, the latest of which include the new multimedia presentation of the Land Speed Record vehicles, For Britain & For The Hell Of It and The Motorcycle Story, which explores the evolution of the motorcycle. Both of these new additions, opened for Easter 2014, have so far been very well-received by Beaulieu’s visitors.
