We must be missing something because we headed here full of anticipation & were very disappointed. Yes the Top Gear section is very well done but as for the ‘stars cars’ ..... where were they all ? Hardly anything to see. Maybe we have been spoilt by the numerous car museums we have visited when on holiday in the USA which are huge collections compared to Beaulieu. Would not return again I’m afraid, far too expensive for what turned out to only be a 1.5 hour visit.

We were disappointed to read your comments, especially as On Screen Cars includes Del Boy’s Reliant Regal from BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses, the flying Ford Anglia from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Mr Bean’s lime green Mini, the Jaguar XKR from James Bond film Die Another Day and Jennifer Saunders’ and Joanna Lumley’s getaway car – the Piaggio Ape from Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie. Recent additions also include Dr Who’s much-loved car Bessie and The League of Gentlemen’s shocking pink taxi. We offer a return for free six-day pass because most of our visitors struggle to fit everything into one visit, so we were sorry to read your feedback.

Great visit. I love cars so was expecting to love the museum, but had a lovely surprise as a history fan with the abbey, Special forces exhibition and house.

Spent all day there enjoying all the attractions. Enjoyed a vintage bus ride and mono rail trip as well.

Special thanks to the falconer. I am not a fan of any use of animals as entertainment but these were genuine working birds and he explained all about their care and training.

Had lasagne in the cafe and an afternoon ice cream. Thanks for a great day. Only missing 5 stars because I would have loved to have seen more of the vehicles out and about the grounds.

As a car enthusiast, I had booked a couple of tickets for my wife and I to visit the museum as so many people had recommended it to me.

The car collection is absolutely fantastic, especially the F1, Rallye and Endurance racing cars.

I had not realised the ticket also allowed us to visit the Palace, Abbey and Gardens, which make the entry fare pretty reasonable.

We also had the perfect sunny weather for a great day out, and even stumbled upon so gentleman doing falconry training for a few birds which was a great added show!

Enjoyed the visit today, visited the car museum, top gear exhibition, Palace house and the abbey. We enjoyed watching the falconry flying within the abbey courtyard - a spectacular bird of prey with a very knowledgeable falconer.
The lighting on the Bluebird made that exhibit difficult to experience properly. and not being able to get to close to the car from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang made photo opportunities very difficult. No sign of James Bond cars, but there was one of his villians vehicles

Decided to visit here as we had a money off voucher which was due to expire in June. Really surprised with how lovely a place it is, with a great motor museum, beautiful palace house and lovely abbey all set in great, tidy grounds. We enjoyed wandering around the various cars and motorcycles and buses in the motor museum and the World of Top Gear. We were in awe of the history of the Abbey and Palace House and loved the rides in the sunshine on both the monorail and the old fashioned London Bus. All in all a wonderful day out.
