Visited this amazing place with friends for the day, it is amazing to see the cars of the past and read all the history, the house, abbey and grounds are amazing a definite one to add to your visiting list when in Hampshire.
However the only disappointing element element of our visit was the restaurant, my scone was very dry and tasteless and trying to order of food at lunch was a very confusing, the lady serving was aware I was there but just ignored me and several others for quite some time and then only to be told that food is being cooked to order (Great) but no information available.
The wait to order was additionally let down by the food, the fish & chips were tasteless the ceasar salad was very poor, and the price did not reflect the food, overpriced.

Thank you for your review. We are really happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit.

It’s disappointing to hear that the Brabazon restaurant did not meet your expectations at the time of your visit. We pride ourselves on the quality of food and service that we deliver and it is clear we have not met our normal standards at the time of your visit. We are currently reviewing our menu with a new winter offering to be launched very soon along with a full review of our service style. Thank you for sharing your experience and we hope to welcome you back in the very near future.

We had a great day - my friend is a real petrol head, and he loved it. He was amazed that there were already electric cars, with an autonomy of over 50miles, very early on in the history of motor vehicles.
The exhibition for training during the war was very interesting too, as was the tour around the manor house.
All in all we had an unforgettable day.

£24.75 on the door for a ticket was a little steep and prices in the restaurant were ridiculous at nearly £5 for a basic sandwich. Also a shame there was no separate entrance for pre paid tickets.

That said, there is a lot to do at Beaulieu with something to do for all ages.

The children got the most excitement out of the playground and monorail and open top bus, which actually were free aspects with purchase of a ticket.

The top gear area was interesting for petrol heads, didn't really understand the screening section, where it was basically just an advert for both series of top gear.

The simulator was fun but horrendously overpriced at £12 for a family of 4, including very small children. There was no discount for the toddlers. Lasted about 3 minutes. £5 would have been about right.

The open top bus is great and runs very regularly, taking visitors all over the site which is useful for the less able.

Beaulieu manor was lovely and educational and lovingly showcased, with real excerpts from the family who lived there. No toilets in tbe manor, so be prepared and go before you step inside.

Amazing topiary to be found if you're an avid gardener or garden lover. We are not so can't comment further on this aspect but the trees and avenues, vegetable patch and flowers were all very well kept and I'm sure included some extremely old varieties.

Toilets well maintained and efficient hand dryers.

Gift shop was magnificent with loads of choice for all budgets.

Finished the day with a very good cup of brew company tea (ample for 2 cups) in the teapot.

Recommend for a whole day trip. Seek discounts or buy tickets online to save and gain maximum fulfilment.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. It sounds like you had a busy day.

The best value tickets (£19.50) can be purchased online, up to one day in advance. There are separate queues in visitor reception during peak times for advance and on the day tickets.

We are sorry that you weren’t made aware of the toilets in Palace House, which our house staff can direct visitors to, while alternative toilets are located in the nearby Beaulieu Abbey.
