We were warmly greeted by Rowena when we arrived and provided with a very welcome pot of tea, great first impression! We stayed in a twin room, which was at the front of the building facing the road - lovely spacious room, with a generously sized bathroom off. Despite the proximity of the road, it was very quiet and had no trouble sleeping on the very comfy bed.
A nice touch was the following day, Rowena spotted that we had brought a bottle of wine with us to have in the room in the evening, and she kindly provided two wine glasses for us. Very thoughtful.
The breakfasts were gorgeous, plenty of fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals and juice, full English or salmon and scrambled egg, and lots of crispy toast. The sausage and bacon were obviously good quality meats - no corners cut there!
The farmhouse was spotlessly clean and spacious, plenty of room to park and in a handy location for Beaulieu, Bucklers Hard and Lymington. I would definitely stay here again.More
