Absolutely fabulous place. Golf was out of this world and the service and attention to detail was absolutely first class. The hotel is extremely well decorated and very attentive staff. A special mention to tom (the bar tender) who made us some great drinks during our stay, and always happy to talk.
Would definitely go back time and time again.

Came here for my partners birthday. Been here before and throughly enjoyed. The food at the glasshouse again was superb and they came out with a birthday desert for him which was a lovely surprise.
So peaceful, and the decorations up for christmas write fantastic and we enjoyed the actual log burning fire while waiting for our table for lunch

Went here for a family dinner to celebrate our daughter's graduation from university. Not our first visit, but certainly the best. It was a glorious evening and so were able to enjoy the spectacular garden and grounds before going inside to dine in the conservatory. This offers one of the best buffets I have eaten anywhere in the world. Great food, great service. Try it.

Room Tip: Try to look over the canal

Just returned from a one night stay at The Grove with a friend. The hotel, grounds and spa are just spectacular. So beautifully kept and while it was very busy, somehow incredibly tranquil. Extra props to whoever styles the amazing topiary shapes - everywhere you look, there are little design extras and touches that could so easily be missed. There is so much to see on the property and so many different areas, it's a job just to get round and take it all in! The walled garden is quite a sight to behold and the grounds outside the Glasshouse are stunning.
We visited The Glasshouse restaurant for the evening buffet, which was fabulous with amazing food and friendly service. We were booked in for 6.30, so expected to be rushed in and out for the next sitting but not a bit of it - we ended up chatting with the waiters, having extra courses, and staying for 3hrs! Never felt hassled or rushed in the slightest. And the food was amazing.
Our room, whilst one of the cheapest, was a good size with a massive bathroom and very quiet. Everything worked just perfectly and the sheets/pillows were the comfiest ever.
I'm trying to find anything we didn't like about this place but failing to think of anything! Top notch facilities, cleanliness, service. Just wonderful.

What a beautiful place less than an hour away from London.
My Wife and i decided to spend a night here on a spa, dinner and breakfast package as a final break before the birth of our first child. While we had been here for weddings in the past we had never stayed the night or used the facilities and i must say i was impressed.
Lets start with the grounds. They were stunning from natural features like the giant Sequioa tree, the perfectly manicured trees and shrubs and the lovely water features. The grounds themselves are huge and perfect for a walk or bike ride. Apparently the golf course is also one of the very best.
The service was for the most part very good. Staff were very polite, always saying hello and asking we were. We had a mix up with our Spa treatments at time of booking which was resolved without too much trouble. The only issue i had was with room service which i believe were having some issues that night.
The Spa facilities were some of the best i have seen. The indoor pool spotless and the outdoor pool in the walled garden was also nice although a little busy. It was one of the hottest days of the year so i wasn't surprised. The masseurs were very knowledgable and polite. I can see my Wife and i coming back for the Spa even if we don't stay the night
Dinner and breakfast were served in the Glasshouse restaurant. Both were buffets with large selections. Obviously with such a large choice, the levels of some dishes will be higher than others but there was something for everyone. I believe there are a couple of other restaurants dotted around the facility that are more formal
All in all a wonderful night, just the break we needed before the little one arrives. In the area this really is a great place to stay or just visit.

Room Tip: The hotel is only 2 floors in the main building so rooms can be either very far from the spa or very...

Beautiful location, long uphill sweep drive through golf course at the entrance. Spotlessly clean. Choice of three restaurants. Wonderful grounds for walks on a summer day - lily pond, giant trees, topiary, flowers, sculptures. Even the car park is full of trees and topiary.
