We stayed at the 2 Brewers pub at the road and as the service for food was not great decided to try somewhere else for breakfast, and we were very glad we did because we found this place. Only about 200yds from the Pub, this cafe was a real find.
The owner and staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was all home made and excellent quality. So good that we ended up eating there for the next 2 days as well.
If you are in the area, do stop and have a breakfast bite (the homemade cake was lovely too!)

This is a beautiful little place, the first thing you notice as you walk in is he traditional and personal layout. its Perfect for tea and coffee and a light lunch.

The staff and attentive and friendly and the atmosphere totally suits the building.. By that i mean it almost transports you to a different time, takes away your stresses and it makes you tea that extra bit enjoyable.

You can tell its well looked after, its squeaky clean and appropriately decorated. If you are in chipperfield looking for a place to go and maybe take some close friends for a drink, the Chipperfield Larder is perfect for you.

The Larder is a little gem on the corner. Takeaway sandwiches/Coffee shop/teas/light lunches etc. and a lovely little deli as well. Staff and service are great too. Highly recommended.
