What can I say, this pub is a true gem!
The service, atmosphere and food were excellent.
I can honestly say that was the best vegetarian lasagne I've ever had!

Really simple, friendly local pub. Outstanding dinner of steak pie and vegetables - the slice of pie was big, delicious and full of steak. The veg was cooked perfectly and the bread and butter pudding was equally satisfying. Staff were really warm, friendly and good fun. Even the beer didn’t produce a hangover - perfect pub experience!

Terrible service, waited 1 hour and our food order still wasn’t taken. Then took 20 minutes to pay for drinks. An explanation if short staffed would have sufficed but we were completely ignored. We approached twice to attempt to order but were sent back to wait at our table.

Is tastefully decorated throughout and has lovely outdoor garden areas. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice but service a little slow but post Covid everyone is struggling with staff.

Excellent food and good value and there was no problem catering for a large number of us. Very efficient and professional service. Sandra could not have been more helpful and sociable. We were made to feel very welcome and would definitely return. We visited Sunday lunchtime and mainly had the excellent roasts.
