Made one of our regular lunchtime visits to this little gem of a restaurant. As always excellent food, spot-on presentation and warm and friendly service. And all for the price of the average chain. No microwaved fare here though! Chef/owner Grant produces wonders from the tiny kitchen using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. The small, but perfectly formed dining room is tastefully furnished (converted from a butchers shop). The pork belly is always good, but then so is everything. Vegetarian options are as interesting as the rest. Three lunchtime courses for less than £19 (a touch more with greater choice in the evenings) - what more could you ask for!
