Had lunch at this lovely old canal side pub, the service was superb and the food very tasty, the thing that lets this place down is the prices which seem to be very high, we had the english tapas which were all good but in my opinion not worth the money, if it were not for the prices the would certainly be 5 stars.

Visited The Three Horseshoes having never been before, we were really impressed with everything! It was a lovely day so we sat outside, it was fairly busy but the service was excellent as was the food! Would definitely visit again if we were in the area.

We went over to Hemel last Sunday to Visit some friends who have recently moved there and they had pre-booked a table at this Pub. OMG what a lovely old place steeped in history in the perfect setting with the river, this Pub had it all the staff were amazing we had our 2 little dogs with us and they found us the perfect table and were very helpful bringing a water dish out for our dogs.We had a sharing Tapas for our starter and then the 4 of us chose the Roast Beef Dinner for our main as they were sold out of Lamb, the dinner was the best I have eaten in a pub for a long time the beef just melted in your mouth and the Yorkshire Puds were enormous !! Did think it was a bit pricey for a roast dinner but then I am a strong believer of you only get what you pay for.The service was excellent. We will most certainly be returning, I just wish this little gem of a place was closer to where we live.

Had lunch here again today We really love this pub The food is excellent & not too pricey Staff are good, young and very friendly So nice to sit by the canal, watch the boats and today mother duck looking after her 3 little ones Only downside to a visit here is the fact that so many people love it & weekends are VERY busy.
