After a period as the Pepper Hut this South Indian restaurant has reopened under its name from many years ago, the Cochin. We were told that the chef from the earlier period as the Cochin had been reappointed and the food he produced was excellent. We happened by during the first week of the reopening and were presented with a taster menu of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes with an assortment of pickles, rices and breads all of excellent quality and freshness. The full menu is apparently to start from 8th July 2013 and I am looking forward to sampling it. I would recommend anyone to try this style of food and this restaurant in particular.
