Stayed in this hotel as an alternative to London proper for a couples' vacation.
The value for the stay was unbeatable, even considering the £35/day travel cost into London.
The bed was pretty uncomfortable however the linens and pillows were very nice.
Location was pretty good: right next to the mall and a Pizza Express right next to it (highly recommend it over the hotel restaurant). Gregg's was good for breakfast on the go though the hotel breakfast was very good as well.
Only location downside was that it is a small hike to the train station (£5 taxi ride each way alternatively) and is not on the London transit line so you pay a bit more than if you were staying closer to London on the train line (within the zones).
Overall, only reason not to stay here is if you're determined to stay in London proper and don't mind paying extra for it.
