“One of the Best Premier Inns”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 April 2014

Made a wise choice using this Premier Inn as a base to travelling into London on 2 days .Location excellent and the end Room 31 ideal so quiet, in fact the quietest I have been in. Nice view from bedroom window. Very comfortable bed. Finally excellent friendly & efficient service from Diane on our arrival.

First time in a Premier Inn and was pleasantly surprised. The location is at one end of the Kings Langley High Street with a fair choice of places to eat and shops all within walking distance.
There is also the pub/restaurant in the same grounds as the hotel (The Young Pretender) where a good breakfast is served and a good carvery is available in the evening. The staff here were very helpful and friendly.
The hotel itself was very clean and well kept with comfortable beds, perhaps a little firm for some peoples liking.
The rooms were spacious and modern.
We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who gave us loads of useful information. Throughout our stay we found the staff very willing to help and very pleasant indeed.
I would have no hessitation in recomending this hotel and if all Premier Inns are like this would certainly stay in one elsewhere.
Excellent value.

As usual, Premier Inn deliver a hotel well suited to the business traveller and those on short breaks with families.

I was on business, staying for a single night, and it is clear the hotel is very popular for those travelling to the nearby Harry Potter World.

There's plenty of parking, reception were as pleasant and well mannered as usual and guided me in the direction of a local retail park for a few things I needed (a mile down the road you'll find a Sainburys etc). They don't have one of the 'convenience vending' machines in reception from what I could see (the things that sell items like razors if you've forgotten something) but with the retail park so close this wasn't an issue.

There was plenty of parking and the Young Pretender pub next door to the hotel appeared popular with both residents and locals alike. I didn't go in, but it did look welcoming and a lot more appealing than some of the pubs I've seen on Premier Inn sites (such as Dunstable which is dominated by locals and workmen and has an intimidating an unwelcoming atmosphere).

The room was as every other Premier Inn room is. There was only one large towel in the room and I'm pretty sure I normal get two, but I could be incorrect. It just stood out to me and I stay in Premier Inns usually at least once a month.

The hotel is perhaps a little more worn than many of the other Premier Inns I go to (with the old 'key' entry instead of keycards) but the fact is that it represents outstanding value for money and you'll have to go a long way to find reception staff as courteous and friendly.

WiFi here was very good. That's critical for my stays on business and in many Premier Inns it is a weak point, but it was swift and reliable at Kings Langley.

It doesn't have aircon in rooms although the old aircon controls are still on the wall (a lot of Premier Inns seem to have these but have had the aircon removed). That said, it wasn't needed when it was only 9-10 degrees outside.

The shower had good pressure too, again something else that I find can be poor in Premier Inns.

All in all, highly recommended for value for money and consistency across the Premier Inn brand.

Room Tip: If you're in a room directly below reception, be aware you will hear them walking above. (Room...

A very friendly welcome upon arrival, we were told what was in the area for us to do and we were told about the good night guarantee. We were asked if we needed any dinner or breakfast reservations made and anything else we needed the staff were happy to help!
When getting up to our room it was very spacious and it was very clean and tidy. The hotel was very pleasant we couldn't hear any noise from other guests or outside. Overall a very good nights stay!

This was our 2nd visit, just as good as the first. Stayed for 3 nights, clean comfortable room. Although we did find a book under one of the childrens beds, so they might not get hoovered under there as much as you would like. Really helpful and friendly staff, always got a hello and a smile from the girls on passing reception. Had breakfast in the Young Pretender next door. really nice. lots of choice and all hot and plentiful. Also had our evening meal in there one night and had carvery, it does get quite busy so you need to book. We stayed here because we were visiting Harry Potter (again) its only 5 -10 mins away in the car. We also jumped on the train at Kings Langley station and visited London, left our car on the big station car park, (we did walk to the station one day and it took about 25 mins) Only 25 mins into Euston and cost us £22.40 (off peak) for all four of us so we did it twice. Wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.

This premier inn is ideal for those looking to fly from Heathrow but don't want to get ripped off by parking closer to the terminal. Here you get the benefit of a free overnight car park with a great selection of restaurants along the High Road for a meal the night before flying. There's also a super pub next door where the full buffet hotel breakfast can be enjoyed.

we stayed here for one night as it was near to wb studio for Harry Potter. cant complain about a thing.
clean rooms, comfy bed, hot showers, quiet, very friendly & helpful staff & great location. short walk in to the village & a pub right next door where we had breakfast which was also as good as you can expect from a buffet breakfast.
