When we were considering booking at Annie’s I read the other reviews and thought they were just too good. However having now stayed for two nights I am also going to add to the glowing references already made.
Annie’s B& B has three attributes, the superb quality of furniture and fixtures, the food, and Annie.
At our first greeting I could see that Annie is a person who enjoys people and is quick to relate to your personality and will also take an interest in your expectations for your holiday. She is methodical and ensures you are advised about the functioning of the house and overall makes you feel very welcome.
We were booked into room 7 which is at the rear of the building and on the top floor. Although we didn’t have direct views towards West Cowes we could see shipping to the left of our window. Our room had a decent sized bathroom with modern fittings and décor. The furniture in the room was of antique style and smart. The king size bed was firm and very comfortable. And we had a large opening window which we appreciated in the hot evening temperatures. As well as the usual tea and coffee in the room we had a range of herbal teas, biscuits and individually wrapped mints.
Breakfast was also a treat; again Annie was specific in explaining all options and ensuring she provided the best cuisine. There is a display chiller in the breakfast room with yogurts, bottled water and fruit in it. Even the yogurt removed for use is retained on ice packs on the breakfast buffet. Try her home made fruit in elderflower jelly as part of the fruit dish.
The only consideration to made in staying here is that the rooms are on 3 floors with High stud ceilings, if you do not like or cannot climb stairs then check on available rooms on the lower floors.
We were touring around the island on push bikes and as a bonus were pleased that we could stow them away safely at night at the back of the house.
Although Annie’s is in East Cowes we found that it was close enough to the chain ferry to enable us to walk to the shops and eateries in west Cowes for the evening.
I have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and would certainly stay again.

Spent 2 nights here with my wife & son in July. Firstly, I'd like to point out its in a great position, literally 5 mins walk from East Cowes Car Ferry Terminal. It suited us perfectly, as we attended a wedding at Osbourne House, so we were there in 5 mins by car. Annies B&B was lovely - a great period building, lighty and airy, rooms thoughtfully decorated and furnished. Absolutely loved our 'wet room' bathroom!
Full English Breakfast was excellent. Annie was a fantastic hoste - she couldn't do enough for us. Her attention to detail was amazing. The whole place was immaculate, there wasn't a spec of dust in the place. Overall, a hugely satisfying and enjoyable break, would highly recommend and definitely stay there again. Thank you Annie.

We stayed with Annie for a second time and the welcome was just as warm as the first. Our visit to the IOW was again for the festival, and Annies hospitality just makes the weekend. The cleanliness and attention to detail is fantastic, especially in the wet rooms. Breakfast really sets you up for the day, I just can't talk highly enough of Annie or her B & B. We're booked in for the IOW festival 2014 and can't wait to go back.

Annie was most welcoming and friendly. We booked at short notice and luckily there was availability. We had a sea view room with a lovely modern bathroom/wet room. Breakfast was very tasty and was served on time (we were working close by so had an early start). We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at Annie's for 7 nights so that we could do the tourist traps, and take in the festival without camping. Annie's is in a great spot, just 5 minute walk into East Cowes where you can catch the chain ferry into Cowes where there is more in the way of pubs, restaurants and general amenities. Also just 10 minute drive from Newport, although everything on IOW is max 30 minutes away by car! If you stay for the festival, the bus goes to and from Waitrose which is just 2 mins away

The room was exceptionally clean, good bed, shower and sea view from room 7. Also found it very quiet, with no outside traffic of note.

The breakfast is great, there is lots of choice of cereal, yogurts etc. The fruit platter was lovely, and a big hit with us! The hot breakfast was well cooked, and Annie will tweak it to your desires as requested!

Annie herself is a great host, who will do anything for you and is so helpful. We visited a couple of restaurants she recommended and weren't disappointed. A lot of local knowledge as well, so like having a tourist advice centre serving your breakfast, great stuff!

Found Annies B&b after an Internet search when our usual B&b couldn't accommodate us. What a great find! Annie is very friendly and so helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, highly recommend the full English. The cleanliness of the bedrooms and bathrooms was outstanding, if I could give 6 stars for that I would! Will hopefully be visiting again soon.
