I stayed there as part of a corporate booking for Cowes week in August 2013 and I shared the downstairs twin room.

The standard of the property is way in excess of what I expected from a B&B. The rooms are are very well decorated and come with good quality toiletries, drinks and snacks should they be needed.

The garden is beautifully kept and wonderful to sit in or look out upon.

The standard of the breakfast beats that of the industrial kitchen produced 5* hotel breakfasts, who would have expected that!

I thoroughly recommend this B&B for anyone's stay in Cowes.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights at the end of June. It is a lovely place and I would recommend it to anyone. The owners sally and jereny went out of their way to make us feel welcome and lifts down to the harbour were most welcome - although it is only a 13 min walk downhill (slightly more effort the other way round but fun). lovely gardens too

An amazing location overlooking cowes, amazing gentle service with the best bed ever!! the room was large and spacious with ample room for luggage and the like. The shower was amazingly powerful, just what you need every morning after a festival!!.The breakfast was second to none with every option offered. Our hosts were very hospitable and nothing was to much trouble even a lift into cowes was available. Seriously we couldn't fault Mimosa Lodge in any way. thank you guys. Will definately see you again. regards Jason and Andy.

We stopped off at Cowes while cycling around the Isle of Wight. After a cycle ride from Yarmouth, we both felt extermely welcome!

The beds/ duvet and lynin couldn't have been more comfy! The room was also excellent and had lovely finishing touches. Finally, the breakfast was outstanding with lovely locally sourced ingredients!

If you are visiting the Isle of Wight I would highly recommend staying at Mimosa Lodge. Both the B&B and Cowes are wonderful places to visit.

Room Tip: We stayed in the ground floor bedroom which was excellent. It had a bath, seperate shower, lovely views of the garden and one of the best beds I have slept in for a long time!! Also excellent high seed WI-FI

My husband was sailing in the round the island race so I thought I'd make the trip over too as a spectator. Sally couldn't have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful ...providing great recommendations for good vantage spots, restaurants etc. Our room was absolutely lovely. Beautifully decorated with a sumptuous bed, bathroom to die for and a lovely balcony with views over the water. My 5am bacon sandwich with a pot of tea watching the first yachts in the race sail past is a memory I will treasure for a long time! The walk into Cowes was only 15 minutes so was perfect for us. Very keen to come back ...sailing trip or not.
