The location of the B&B is close to the centre. The breakfast was the best and extensive we had on our trip with various fresh fruits and the full English breakfast in accordance with personal preference.
The welcome was warm, cosy and family atmosphere.
Additional info where te eat was very helpful.
Furthermore we could park our bikes in the closed yard.
We would definitely book this B&B if we come back to Cowes.

We stayed for 3 nights, breakfast is very good. We took our dog and were made to feel very welcome. Clean with everything we needed and handy location close to old Cowes.
Would stay again. Thank you for looking after us so well Debbie.

Our second visit was just as delightful in this conveniently situated house just up the hill from the Red Jet Ferry.
Comfortable ensure rooms and a delicious breakfast. Very warm welcome and close to everything.

On reading some of the other reviews it seems like we are one of the few that have stayed in the one double room in this friendly b&b. I can see why this may be the last to be booked as it's more a single room really and as such I think the rate should be at least £10 less. The first floor rooms do have high ceilings though. We found the room quite challenging to stay in because the bed was tiny, not very comfortable and there was barely any space to move around the bed. The bathroom was also challenging to use because there was no room to manoeuvre. Some of the fittings were rusting and I was a bit surprised the basin didn't have a mixer tap which made that harder to use. We had to store our suitcase in the shower!

Being able to make drinks in the room was very good as not all b&bs or even larger hotels offer this. Location excellent but this room is next to a fairly well used road and bus route into town (at busy times of year I know a lot of revellers walk up here as they leave the town pubs) so if you are used to silence at night this may be an issue. It was also windy when we stayed and there was lot of noise from that, the ill fitting door rattling and floorboards creaking somehow! The twin room our daughters had on the first floor was much bigger and looked over the quieter road. No guest lounge, just a chair in the breakfast room. Breakfast excellent in very nice room at front of house. In short a warm welcome, and warm rooms with facilities and lovely towels, hence the score of 4, but there are issues with the double room and I would only recommend it to single guests.
