Great little ale house tucked away opposite the coast bar. Mondays is irish music night, wednesday is quiz and often music at the weekend. Well kept ales, friendly bar staff and meat platters available. If you like ale this is a must.

Popped in here having spotted it whilst having lunch, lovely friendly staff, homely, comfortable atmosphere and the beer straight from the keg was perfect. If you love your beer - pop in here!

Started to rain in Cowes so took shelter here. Very friendly barman, and a couple of other shelterers from the rain chilling out with teas. Got the chilli jacket potato (quite nice!) and the chicken and veg soup (pretty standard) and roll. Tried some ales too, absolutely gorgeous.

Cowes ale house centrely positioned serving a good selection of ales from the barrel. Also they have a couple of interesting lagers on draft, have been several times often to find good live music freely available. Will return next time we are in Cowes.

Great beer, nice little place. Cowes in summer is a blooming flower. Cowes in winter is blooming awful. There are sailing shops a plenty. Buy a nice yellow sailing jacket thingy, turn the collar up, buy a pair of trendy sunglasses.....while you are at it,a pair of red ankle boots.. 'Set you back about 800 quid, and you'll look a right twit, especially if you don't know your bow from your aft. Go back to the COWES ALE HOUSE, have another pint...then pop up to Aldi and buy the lot for 12pounds 15 shillings and 11 pea
