The B&B is adapted from the owners' house. Key thing is that you can park there - not easy in Cowes. It's right next to a park which makes a nice walk through to Cowes High Street. The room I stayed in was a twin at the front of the house. Tea/coffee/TV/plenty of towels/plugs for recharging and very clean and simple. I like white fresh bedding so that box was ticked as well. The shower had great water pressure - much appreciated having suffered from the opposite many times - another ticked box.
Breakfast was in the conservatory and beautifully cooked to demand with the usual selection from I was told, locally sourced ingredients.
There are only a few rooms and even though it's October - they were taken probably because it's very reasonably priced, clean and convenient. There are dogs on the premises but they are not allowed near the guests or upstairs (I tried to tempt one up with me as I'm a dog lover - and wasn't allowed). But I imagine if you are traveling with dogs - this would be a good place to stop...but you'd have to check as I am speaking without authority on this. I'd definitely return.
