Very clean place, nice room and well equiped. In a calm location yet very near center. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Very nice and helpful hosts. What more to ask for? Definetely a good place to stay in Cowes.

Really pleasant room, bright and airy. Breakfast was great. Macerator was a bit of a surprise but acceptable. Really good base for a lovely town. Would recommend it to friends. (We took the double en-suite.)

Room Tip: Ask for the internet password before settling in. Parking can be a chore.

Hello, just a quick thank you for your review and to let you know that I have removed the Macerators from the bathrooms now and replaced it with traditional plumbing.

Hope to see you again soon

Overall good experience. Rooms are well maintained. Location is nice if you are landing or visiting around the Cowes area.

The macerator in the bathroom makes a sharp and loud noise when flushed. Would have been good if forewarned.

Breakfast was good but not many options for vegetarians.

Stairs can be a bit of bother for elders or others who find it difficult to climb up.

Otherwise good value place. Very clean. Even the shared baths are kept very well.

Parking is available on their driveway. It can be small inconvenience when someone has to move the car out of sequence.

A nice haven on a lovely little isle. Our weekend stay here was relaxed and comfortable in a hastle free household. Andrea and Mark were fantastic, very welcoming and friendly.
They offer an amazing breakfast menu, and the food was cooked to perfection and tasted great.
All in all a very comfortable stay.

Thanks!

We stayed in a triple en suite room for two nights at the end of August. The room was extremely clean with a double and a proper full size single. The room was a great size and did not feel squashed at all with the third bed. Our room felt very contemporary furnished in neutral colours. The sheets and towels provided were lovely and soft, and the beds extremely comfortable with light fluffy pillows and a good supportive mattress.
Andrea and Mark are very friendly and hospitable and nothing is too much trouble. They have lots of good advice about where to go on the island and are happy to stop for a chat. They make you feel like you are staying with friends.
As well as various leaflets with local information, they have a small selection of DVDs to borrow.
Breakfast is all locally sourced and delicious and is served in a bright airy dining room. Food is cooked to order and there is also freshly squeezed orange juice, apple juice from a local orchard, a large selection of home made jams and various cereals. Mark makes excellent poached eggs and grilled tomatoes amongst other things and was big enough to keep us going till dinner!

Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Stayed here of one night in August, Very Clean and comfortable room. The owners are very accomadating and the Breakfast was very good. Not suitable if you have a problem with stairs. I could not get en suite and I am not sure they have them so a shared bathroom is all I think is available

Room Tip: Some rooms are up stairs and there is no lift.

Hello and thank you for your review.

August is a really busy time of year so unfortunately all of our ensuite rooms must have been booked when you chose to stay with us. We are hopefully going to have another ensuite room next year which will make 4 or our 11 rooms available with ensuite bathroom.

All of our rooms are spread over the first and second floors of our lovely Victorian house. We don't have the space to put in a lift, however, I am always available to give you a hand with your luggage up and down the stairs to make things a little easier.

Glad that you liked the breakfast and hope to see you again

What can I say that's not already been said? Not a lot so I'll have to repeat what's already been written. Excellent location just far enough from town to be peaceful but only a couple of mins walk to the town and all It has to offer (which is a lot).
Rooms are large light and airy, immaculately clean with all that you could want. Breakfasts are freshly cooked using only local produce are to die for. It's a lovely house run by a lovely couple. I think you get my drift so I'll sign of with the one word that I feel describes this guest house best. Excellent.
