Stayed at One fifty for two nights in June 2014. Lovely friendly welcome. Beautiful sunny room, spotless bathroom, towels smelt so good I had to ask which fabric conditioner was used! Breakfast was totally delicious, and location wise, One fifty was a short walk to the centre of Cowes. Would highly recommend staying here.

We have a rule that when staying away we never stay in the same place twice(stupid I know) we now have changed our rules :-) we cannot imagine stsying any where else when we visit the island. Paula really made the effort to make you feel welcome. We arrived to fresh coffee and were offered a free ride back to the marina. Breakfast was fantastic (condidering I complain everywhere I go this is a real compliment=-) cant say much more without being ott but really impressed

Stayed in the Tennyson room, tip top. Beautiful location near the city. Just a little walk away. Very quiet even though a main road in front. Breakfast was very good with a great selection. Loved all the fresh fruit. It was a nice change from impersonal hotels.

We just got back from the isle of wight, feeling very refreshed. My daughters and I, age 11 and 8 stayed at a delightful family owned B&B one fifty cowes, for three nights. The wonderful Paula and her family took great care of us. Pleasantly greeted at the door by Paula who carried our suitcase to our room.
Our double room was a sanctuary of calm muted colours, with hints of soft grey velvet and superbly clean. The washroom had a big shower head, massive square tub, soft white towels, a moisturising hand wash/hand cream, very impressive.
Our room was cleaned to perfection everyday, replenished chocolate treats, water, fresh fruit and clean towels.
One fifty cowes is about 10 minutes away from the ferry station and only a bus ride away to Newport(a central bus station) where you can get the bus to anywhere on the island. Bus schedules were easy to follow and buses very frequent. When we felt lost, we asked for directions, the locals were more than happy to help, some of the friendliest people we have met.
At breakfast, Paula made it a point to not only ask how we were, but also ask about our adventures on the marvellous isle of wight. Breakfast was everything, prepared with love, every attention to detail. Big breakfast was served every morning, fresh fruit, granola, cereal, good old English breakfast, some of the yummy things on one fifty's menu, and all served with a smile.
If you want to feel at home, relaxed and well taken care of, one fifty cowes is the place for you, it's our new home away from home. Wishing awesome Paula and her family all the best, we will return.

Great standard of accommodation, lovely breakfast and friendly helpful hosting. Ideal location, 10 minute walk into Cowes. Bed and furnishings very pleasing and comfortable and little finishing touches were appreciated e.g. good choice of hot drinks in room and small daily fruit bowl most welcome. Light sleepers may benefit from using earplugs, although not especially noisy (light road traffic at front of house perhaps) but did notice some vibration noise from passing traffic on occasion overnight (top floor room at back); I am a very light sleeper and with earplugs enjoyed great sleep. Highly recommended.
