“5 star welcome and accommodation”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

On arrival we were made to feel very welcome. Offered tea and coffee which was served in the garden. Rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. We both slept well so much so that we were unaware of a spectacular thunderstorm. Breakfast was delicious. Which was served in the garden when weather permitted. Paula is a warm friendly person whose special touches of fresh fruit in the room made arriving back from a day out all the more pleasant. Can recommend packed lunch.

Where do I start? Reading these wonderful reviews lead to our booking 4 nights at onefifty, so we had high expectations! I can honestly confirm everything that has been said already and we were
not disappointed with any aspect of our stay; beautiful crisp cotton bed linen (changed throughout
our stay!) impeccably clean with every attention to detail. Paula is delightful and could not have been more welcoming or helpful - only small problem is that my husband is now expecting the same service at home! Congratulations Paula & Mark you have made your B&B an absolute gem and we will definitely be back!

Room Tip: We were offered a choice of 2 rooms on the top floor. The room facing the garden is quieter although...

I stayed at One Fifty for one night, it was easy to find and I managed to park on the drive which was a bonus!

Paula welcomed me at the door, showed me around, carried my bad to my room and offered me tea / Coffee on arrival. Paula made me feel very welcome in their beautiful family home.

The room was well furnished, and was very comfortable, And very clean and tidy. The room had a sea view.

Breakfast was amazing! I had a full cooked breakfast and it was lovely and set me up for the day :-)

There is a small shop up the road from One Fifty, so if you need anything you an grab it there, if that is no good there is a co-op and a Sainsburys in the Cowes (5-10 min walk)

I went to a local pub in Cowes high street (The Anchor) awesome pub, great food with a lovely atmosphere, and well worth a visit, there are other restaurants in the town but this one is worth popping into.

I would defiantly stay at One Fifty again, and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Wayne from Southampton.

Scored top of our B&B stays in Europe. Paula was very helpful in guiding us to the best Cowes and IoW sites. She made us feel very welcome. The room was absolutely clean and tidy, very light and airy. The sort of place you immediately regret not staying a few days longer. The breakfast in the conservatory was beyond description. The choice of food, the presentation was superb. The only downside, if there is one, is the hike up the hill from the chain ferry carrying bags.

Room Tip: Ask for the top floor if stairs are not a problem for you. The views are incredible. They even suppl...

My colleague and I stayed at this brilliant 4 double bedroomed B&b on a two day business trip to the Isle of Wight. From the moment that Paula, our landlady, welcomed us to her home it was clear that great attention to detail and quality was the order of the day. She came up with a tray of tea and biscuits on arrival in the rooms. The rooms were well equipped and spotless and the beds were even turned down during the evening. Breakfast was delightful in the garden and conservatory and incredible choice of fare was available. Don't miss it!

A wonderful stay at One fifty in June. Absolutely spotless, decor is beautiful, attention to detail superb. The rooms are so comfortable and so clean. Fluffy dressing gowns, decent size towels .... one that you can actually make into a turban (for the ladies), a lot of times the hand towels are too small. Location is great, a short walk to bars and restaurants. Recommendations of restaurant very good. Beautiful breakfast which can be taken on the patio. Paula works very hard to keep a stunning guesthouse ........ do yourself a favour when in Cowes and stay there

This should be a 5* Hotel but has a home to home feel. Owners offer courtesy pick up from Ferry Port. Made us feel welcome immediately.
A four storey property with outstanding interior design - bright, spacious & exceptionally clean. Lots of lovely extra touches - fresh fruit, chocolate & water in room each day. Bathroom was beautiful soap/hand cream etc included.
Nothing was too much trouble & breakfast served in the conservatory - choice was excellent - food delicious & served on beautiful crockery.
Pretty garden terrace which we could sit out on at any time & tea/coffee served.
Best hotel I've stayed in with attention to detail above average. Definitely return.
There is no pool as stated below.
Highly recommended

Room Tip: All the rooms looked nice but I believe there may be a distant view of the sea from rooms on the bac...
