“Smashing little golf course”
Reviewed 10 August 2013

Terrific value this 10 hole course. £7.50 and you can go round as often as you like, taking a break for coffees as you go. Super lunches and a really relaxed and welcoming staff. Great if you're a novice golfer

“Great surprise for lunch”

Tried tiger into Beach Hut in Colwell - but they were suffering another power cut. Found this gem - great service, good food, wine and a great local ale - superb.

“Closed!”
Reviewed 3 August 2013

Tried to visit here on a Monday evening during peak holiday time and when we eventually found it - it was closed and no signs on the building to say when it was due to open.

“unpretentious and good value”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

after a couple of years labouring under the auspices of a "celebrity" "chef" (sic) the Garden Restaurant at the Farringford has reverted to doing what it does best, a small menu, some specials and excellent food. This changes frequently but everything on the menu is fresh and cooked to order and the wood fired pizza oven makes some of the best pizzas in the known universe.

“Absolutely disgusted!!”
Reviewed 28 July 2013 via mobile

Went to the Farringford today. Have never had such bad treatment and food. It was £15 for a roast and pudding and we didn't even get that far. We were made to sit outside even though the restaurant was empty!! When the dinner arrived it wasn't even cooked. The meat you couldn't cut, the vegetables were hard, absolutely the worst meal ever! I do not hardly ever write reviews on here but this deserves one to warn other people that this food is horrendous! I will not be going back!!
