“Great little home from home with everything you could need, and more!”

This is a lovely cottage and we are so pleased to have found it.
We stayed 1 week at the cottage and found the fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed, and was very light and airy.
The children loved the run of the garden and the cosy lounge was nice to retreat to late evening.
The bedrooms are small cottage rooms, but you sleep here, so it works, and the downstairs has ample space in comparison.
Owners are friendly, welcoming and very helpful if you want any advice.
It is west Wight so more journey time if you want to head east, but the whole island has so much on offer this was no problem for us (we were 2 adults with a 2 and 5 yr old).
Highly recommended (we were nervous about writing a good review incase it is fully booked next time that we wish to stay).

“Perfection”
Reviewed 27 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

This is the second time we have stayed at Little Moon Cottage. We simply love it here. The cottage is perfect down to the smallest details, the owners have thought of everything. They are very welcoming and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. It is the perfect base to explore the island from & is very well located for dog owners with lots of great walks on the Tennyson Downs & some fantastic beaches right on the doorstep. We have also stayed next door in Sunbeam Cottage & loved it there too. It's completely different but just as lovely in its own way, in fact we love these cottages so much we have already booked to go back next July. Thank you Ian & Su (& Zeena!), we had a wonderful holiday.

“superb cottages”
Reviewed 30 June 2013 for a stay in November 2012

We stayed at little moon & sunbeam cottages for 7 weeks while my husband was working at the prisons. It was fantastic all you could want & more honestly. Both cottages are different, but are beautiful in there own way.The owners Suzanne & Ian are so friendly and are always there to help you if needed. We visited quite a lot of places while we were there, we went to Ventnor, Cowes, Shanklin ,Newport ,Sandown, Totland which was just down the road from where we stayed. Freshwater bay lovely views at the top. The needles was 10 mins in the car to visit from the cottages well worth a look & to see them making glass & making sweats & rock while you watch, then you can have a taste or buy quite a variety. To say the island is not that big there is plenty of places to visit. We will be going back again one day for sure. The both cottages have all the home comforts you need & the gardens are massive, our dog just loved being outside loads of room and he is a big german shepherd .Everything is so clean here and very welcoming superb.Couldn't be better.

“A little gem!”
Reviewed 7 June 2012 for a stay in May 2012

WE have just returned from a perfect week in a perfect cottage at a perfect location blessed with (for once) perfect weather.
The cottage, which is spotless and very well equipped, is located in a quiet leafy lane at the rear of the imposing Tennyson Down where we were entertained by early morning visits by red squirrels and the occasional fox. A superb dog friendly food pub (Highdown Inn) is located just down the road and many walks and (dog friendly) beeches are close at hand.
Ian and Suzanne proved to be perfect hosts to us and our little dog and we fell in love with this delightful part of the Isle of Wight. We shall certainly return.

“Lovely cottage in a lovely peaceful location.”
Reviewed 29 July 2011 for a stay in July 2011

We stayed at Little Moon Cottage for a long weekend with our dog Pepper having booked at the last minute and were really impressed.

It is situated in the quieter more picturesque part of the Island and the walks and the scenery are lovely. The cottage, although small is beautifully presented with larger than expected downstairs living space, a nice garden and very well equiped.

We were made very welcome by Ian and Su and their dog Zena who live next door, which we had thought may be a problem but it really wasn't.

Although it is in a very quiet area there is a very nice pub within easy walking distance which serves good food and welcomes dogs - they even sell dog biscuits at the bar!

We really enjoyed our stay and will definately return.
