Yes stunning location and very handy for what I wanted. Food was simple but actually good value for money.
Had no staff though and I couldn't check out as no one pay the bill to?
The hotel was a little tired after the season but I found it to be please try enough.

This hotel has the potential to be amazing. The location is stunning with abundant balconies and terraces overlooking the bay... not across the road but on the water... close enough to feel the spray on your skin.
However, the condition of the rooms and the hotel in general left a lot to be desired. The rooms, I found to be dingy and not very well ventilated. The windows were not properly sealed; the terraces including the outdoor furniture were not in a state of good repair which meant that we didn't want to relax there - a pretty damning outcome given the beautiful setting.
There were other quirks like the rules, and the staff demeanours which other reviewers have mentioned. Thought not to my taste, those aspects would not have put me off, but in light of the condition of the rooms and terraces, I would certainly not stay there again.

5 of us stopped off here for a drink around 2pm on a Sunday afternoon. The weather was awful but we paid our £1 parking fee and trusted we would be fine. We actually didn't manage to speak to any member of staff during the whole 20 minutes we were there as for the first 18 mins we couldn't even find anyone! We found one female guest whose husband was around hunting for the staff like we were. The husband then appeared and told us they were still waiting for breakfast (at 2pm?) and had been there a few days and said there were staffing problems. There was nobody on reception, bedroom doors were open with bedding strewn over the floor and it was just like a scene from Psycho. In the main lounge were 2 people sitting in a corner of the room and nobody else to be found. After some time a member of staff arrived behind the bar with no greetings at all and then took the money off the 2 other customers for coffees before they had even been served their drinks. Fortunately we have a very good sense of humour and decided to leave but we all thought this was the weirdest experience we had ever had in a hotel. We may have just hit that bad time when things have all gone wrong together, but looking at the other comments here one has to be cautious about any recommendations. The only redeeming comment is that this is a fairly big place and the rooms looked quite decent.

We booked room from booking.com for family of four. 2 kids 5 and 6 so we were advised we need 2 rooms which normally are next to each other or joined with a door, but I guess that is something they have never heard of, A very Rude lady Annmarie on reception got upset as we demanded to stay together but she advised you can stay in one room with one kid and your wife can stay in different room with another.
Finally we were given a family too
Which was listed for 130 pounds for one night but they still charged me 210 pounds and refused to refund the difference.
Room itself was in a bad shape which had spiders and flies even before we opened windows.
Open wires with masking tape were hanging from wall, dirty Linen.
Before anyone books this hotel please call them and confirm that there is no AC or Fan and it was nearly 26 degrees, There is no fridge in room and they dont even keep a bottle of water in room.
If you plan to live in this hotel please call and confirm your requirements its a big NO NO for a traveller like me to pay so much money for that kind of room.
Only good thing about this place was location and gentleman who was working in evening.
