We were greeted with a warm smile and a very welcome pot of tea. Nothing about the place could be faulted. Beautiful period house, large spacious tastefully appointed rooms and a hearty breakfast, served and waited on by charming ladies. Only downside is location. If you're like us and seek good pubs and decent restaurants you're going to struggle in Freshwater.

This converted manor house has been re-done into a guesthouse and has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where dogs and children are welcome. The house and its rooms are spacious, clean and homely. It also has a great garden which children and dogs can play in. This place is a wonderful place to stay!

We arrived in off-season (at the end of March) and while it seems that Boris and Brenda were not expecting us, they were more than welcoming and made us very comfortable. The Seahorses Inn is very close to the bus stop which was great, but the buses are very difficult to navigate at night (and especially during off -season when the schedules are a little different). However, we were very comfortable, found our way around, and enjoyed our room at the Seahorses Inn very much. Breakfast in the morning was very good and we sat in the beautiful dining area overlooking the garden and were given great suggestions and directions for the day. It is difficult to find a room for 3 (I was with my mom and sister) at most BnBs on the Isle, but Seahorses was more than accommodating on that front as we had more than enough space! Brenda's artwork is beautiful and it was overall a lovely experience. I would, however, recommend that you visit during the busy season when the isle is a little more alive.

I had a nice relaxing stay @ seahorses recently.I even managed to do some drawing and painting in the garden! The surroundings are lovely and its a stones throw into Freshwater where you can get a nice meal in the evening. Walks around the island are great too. Staff at the guest house are really friendly and will tell you all about the Lantern Trust.I would like to go back again sometime soon.

We had a fantastic time at Seahorses. The staff are very friendly and the food local, fresh and delicious. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the house is beautiful - inside and out. We got creative in the well-equipped studio and were given lots of help with designing and making some beautiful glass pieces to take home with us. A great place to stay.. we can't wait to go again!

Such a pleasant place to stay, the rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast superb, the gardens beautiful and location ideal! We were travelling by foot/bus and Seahorses is ideal for exploring the Freshwater Bay area. All staff are very friendly and helpful and the lovely lounge is great for a cosy evening by the fire! Couldn't ask for more, will definitely be back!
