Have just had three nights at this modern hotel near Ryde. I travelled by train from Waterloo to Ryde and got on a bus, which stopped at the end of the drive of the hotel. I was warmly welcomed by Karen in Reception and the room was very pleasant with a view over the lake. Very spacious
and well equipped bathroom. Only minor quibble was with the lighting in the room. Even with all the lights switched on it was still very gloomy. The Brasserie restaurant with a great view of the lake served good food with attentive service. Anne the breakfast waitress was very helpful.
The hotel hosts many weddings and corporate events, but as a single guest I was extremely well
looked after and my grandson had a great time in the pool.More
