“A haven for a heavenly holiday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 October 2012

My daughter (20 months) and I, joined our family at Tythe Barn, Little Upton Farm. The beautiful setting of this stunning barn conversion made going to bed at night a little sad as we knew it was another day of our glorious holiday gone. However, waking up in the morning to a wall of scenery (phenomenal glass wall in my en-suite room) and the gentle bustle of the working farm made up for it entirely. To top of the week helping out with the twin calves born overnight (named Billy and bob) and fetching one in from the very muddy field when it's mother left it, made for the best experience. Took lots of pictures for my little one to remember her first holiday. Thanks Alison and Howard...you've got us hooked in this haven for a heavenly holiday. Jessica and Erin

Myself, my husband and my 2 year old son had a lovely stay in the Cote at little Upton farm in September. The accommodation was immaculate, every thought had been put into the small details, it was definately a home from home. Stunning views over the farm. Great for us as it had an enclosed garden so my little boy could play in and out freely, and as the bedrooms were only up three stairs safe for him to have run of the whole place. He loved looking at the animals in the morning and seeing the tractor. Will definately be back for another visit!

Just returned from our first visit to IOW. We stayed at Little Upton Farm recommended by our friends who visited last year. What a delight! Our accommodation was in "The Cote", everything you could want for a self catering holiday. Alison and Howard were delightful and very helpful during our stay. The setting of the property is in beautiful countryside, away from busy Ryde. We found it very relaxing especially after a busy day sightseeing we could return to our hideaway for a cup of tea and a slice of cake made by Alison, just wonderful. Highly recommended.

We've just returned from a great holiday here with our our 2 elderly mums. We stayed in Tythe Barn which has 3 good sized ensuite bedrooms(1 downstairs) and an additional downstairs WC. Like other reviewers, we too found it very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We did better than most this year for weather so made use of the patio for meals, and the lawn for just relaxing, it felt like a real home from home. The views of unspoilt countryside would be difficult to beat. Would highly recommend this property, it's a great place to stay, and Howard and Alison could not be more helpful.

Have just returned from our first visit to Little Upton Farm and it certainly wont be our last! My grandaughters are already making us promise to go back as they had such a wonderful time with Alison. She was so kind-took them on the quad bike ,let them help with the horses and the sheep dogs as well as providing bikes for them to ride round the farm.16 of us altogether and voted it best U.K. holiday ever. Even the weather was kind and the accomodation was marvellous--what a great place! Thank you Alison and Howard.

Excellent!! Made to feel very welcome on arrival - home made cake & tea. Old Byre was very clean, we all felt that the owners (who were very gracious hosts) had thought of everything that a holidayer would require - BBQ coals were provided for us, travel cot, play area for children. Alison the owner took the kids around the farm and took me to some nice butterfly spots (as she knew before hand we are keen insect enthusiasts).

Would not hestiate recommending to anybody or to go back ourselves. Worth every penny - wish we had stayed longer.

We had a great holiday here with our our 2 elderly mums. We stayed in Tythe barn which has 3 good sized bedrooms(1 downstairs) and 3 bathrooms. We found it very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We liked the fact that it wasn't too cold and sparse as some holiday lets are, it felt like a real home from home. We loved eating breakfast on the patio and appreciated the comfortable outside furniture to sit in and admire the view of unspoilt countryside. Would highly recommend this property, it's a great place to stay, very relaxing.
