Came here on Easter Sunday and was immediately struck by the pleasant unfussy surroundings overlooking the lake. The three course £19 menu was extremely good. Very good value we thought. We had the wild mushroom soup with truffled oil and the beef, all of which was excellent. Being picky the meat itself was a little cold but then it does have to relax. It would have ruined a lesser cut of meat. Also the background music was tinny pop music which seemed incongruous in such a sophisticated atmosphere. The service was really excellent. Altogether very very good.
