Peter Pan's Funfair & Amusements
Ranked #23 of 41 things to do in Ryde

This could do with updating nothing seems to have been improved in the 7 years we have been visiting. The rides are ok for younger children but could do with othe things for teenagers. The ammusements have had some new machines installed but it is on the small side.

Absolutely nothing special or in anyway related to Peter Pan.

It's a couple of carnival rides at £2 a go and a small arcade with the usual slots and toy grabbers.

Nothing special and struggled to keep the kid entertained for long.

Where to start....arrived there with great expectations....first the note machine wouldn't take my money. The one and only guy there changed it for me and got my £1 coins....the 2p change machines you have to scoop it into the pot....instead of straight into the pot....next the 2ps kept getting stuck, and the claw machines are a rip off....every time the claw got the toy, lifted it, made its way to the prize shoot and opened it....did this 5 times with 5 turns....so 30 tries later still no prize just one really upset daughter. Said to the one and only man in there can I not just buy a toy to be told " if the manager was here he'd be able to sort it".....what's the point of having a manager if they're not there and don't allow the responsibility of the only person there the power to sort the problem. So I wouldn't recommend it at all....you want value for money and excellent customer service I recommend Shanklin Amusements and arcade or Sandown Pier...

This is an excellent entertainment area for younger children. Unfortunate!y our children are now too old for this.

Mainly aimed at younger children, apart, maybe, from the dodgem cars. Have to buy tokens, with slight discount for buying more. Reasonable value.
Liked the fact that adults were allowed to ride with young children without paying.
There's also crazy golf, but we didn't use that.
