“Wonderful!”
Reviewed 13 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

I cannot say enough good things about our stay in Tithe Barn - one of the self catering cottages available on the Little Upton Farm. The cottage itself was beautifully presented, cosy and welcoming with a breathtaking view that I just couldn't get enough of. But besides that, Alison and Howard went out of their way to make us comfortable - providing very welcome little extras for our two young children (5 and 2 years of age) such as a slide, pony and tractor rides (this was a very big deal for our little ones - pure excitement!), ping pong tables etc. Also, the location of the farm is brilliant - you are very near to Ryde (where the ferry from Portsmouth comes in) with its shops and restaurants, cafe's etc and close to a wide range of activities but you are also in the middle of the most beautiful countryside. We had a truly memorable stay and are already planning our return trip.

“Great for children”
Reviewed 21 October 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We stayed in the Old Byre in August 2013 with our daughter and partner and one grand daughter. It was the perfect choice for us all. Lots of space and each bedroom has its own bathroom, plus a safe garden for little ones. The position is lovely with great views across the valley and some lovely walking. Only downside is that you lose the evening sun on the terrace quite early but you can't have everything! Highlight of the week for our grand daughter was riding the Shetland pony called Emma. Alison and Howard are excellent hosts - we all enjoyed the cake provided on arrival. I would thoroughly recommend!

“Fabulous accommodation and stunning location. A perfect break away!”

This was our third family holiday to Little Upton farm. The accommodation is appropriately 5 star and does not disappoint, each bedroom is tastefully decorated in keeping with a 'barn conversion' and very pleasant en suites off each bedroom. The extra touches, of a first floor balcony and floor to ceiling windows in two of the bedrooms really gives the barn a touch of style and 'point of difference'. They allow you to take full advantage of the stunning views as far as the eye can see! The wonderful owners, Howard and Alison really add the personal touch, with home made cake on arrival, demonstrations of sheep dogs at work, access to meet all the animals and tractor rides! An all round package both Incredibly welcoming to families but equally suitable to adults looking for a 'get away from it all' retreat. A real find which explains the very high level of repeat bookings they get. Early booking is a must! Thank you for another fabulous holiday!

“Fantastic Holiday - Great for young and old !”
Reviewed 16 June 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We had brilliant holiday at Little Upton Farm. Six of us stayed in Tithe Barn, our kids (age 6 and 8) enjoyed it just as much as my parents ( 80 somethings! ) which meant that we were all happy. The views are spectacular, the kids loved having so much space to run about in, the trampoline and table tennis table were well used. Ipod's and DS's didn't get played with all week. The accommodation was perfect for our needs, all three bedrooms are beautifully decorated and all have en-suite facilities, plus another cloakroom downstairs. The ground floor bedroom has a fabulous walk in shower / wet room. There is plenty of parking ( you do need a car ) and is fine for people with less mobility. The owners, Alison and Howard couldn't do enough for us, from the homemade cake on arrival to the added bonus of entertaining the kids for us by taking them out on the quad bike and pony rides. As for the Isle of Wight, we loved it, so much to do for all ages and you don't have to travel far to find something. We will definitely go back again.
