Yelf's Hotel is in a great location but sadly the rooms are tired and in need of updating. My single room was comfortable and cosy but dated. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful during my two night weekend stay. The two course evening meal is great value and the waitress service was excellent. Breakfast was very good but service was a bit chaotic due to a lack of staff.

There is a car park for hotel residents but this isn't widely advertised or directions on how to access it!

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room book one located at the back of the hotel.

Had the opportunity to stay at Yelf's Hotel following the recent storms on the south coast and ferries being cancelled.

The hotel was very presented at the front of house staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great with the waitress assisting with providing a high chair for our 10 mth son.

Check in and Check out were quick easy and painless.

The only thing i would change was the temperature of the room. Heating was on full, and it was a little difficult to sleep, due to the strong winds, opening the windows was not an option on this stay. Aprat for this great asset to Ryde and the Isle of Wight

Thank you for a great stay

The Wedding Package cost may have been BUDGET but the whole wedding experience was EXCEPTIONAL. Rebecca from the very beginning your help was professional & informative. The Florist you recommended was absolutely brilliant.

Rebecca you & your staff could not have made our day more special. I cannot fault anything about the day. The food was lovely, the Bridal suite was comfortable. Our guests had a lovely time. As a Venue having a number of different rooms made it possible for guests to get away from the music.

Myself and Husband Mike would like to start by giving huge thanks to all the staff at Yelf's for making our wedding day 12th Oct 2013 fantastic from beginning to end. The ceremony was held in the hotel followed by Wedding Breakfast consisting of fantastic 3 course meal and into the evening reception with Buffet. The staff could not have done any more to make us and our guests feel special. We had a gorgeous day and would give top marks for the 5 star treatment.

Great value Sunday lunch, three courses plus coffee for about £15.
Generous starters,I had home smoked duck breast followed by healthy portions of roast beef or belly of pork.Desert for me were plum fritters and ice cream.
Friendly helpful UK staff made for a very enjoyable lunch.
I think it is family run given the ambience and all round cleanliness.
We will return

Room Tip: We only dined but our companions had stayed there previously and recommended it
